Breaking down the barriers that keep emotional resilience out of reach

by making powerful tools simple, low-cost, and accessible to every child, everywhere.

All around the world, people who care deeply about children — parents, educators, professionals, and communities — share one thing: a longing to help the next generation truly thrive, not just survive.

But that hope is often held alongside overwhelm.
Because right now, the odds feel stacked.
- Time is short.
- Budgets are tight.
- Emotional needs are rising.
- And practical, proven tools feel out of reach.

That’s what the Bowly Can Approach is being built to change.

Launching later this year, The Bowly Can Foundations Kit will offer plug-and-play emotional resilience tools built to be affordable, impactful, and accessible to every child — regardless of background, budget, or postcode.

This isn’t another thing to add to your day. It’s a breakthrough framework that fits right into it -  simple, low-cost, ready-to-use.

Rooted in the power of metaphor, the natural language of childhood, this method helps children aged 3–8 learn how to:

- name their feelings;
- move through tough moments;
- and stay connected to who they are inside.

Quick to learn.
Easy to use.
Designed to slot into busy lives, classrooms, clinics, and care settings - without training, burnout, or overwhelm.

What’s Happening Now?

The final two books in the six-book Bowly Can series are being shaped — in collaboration with the very people this is for.

- One book will  feature real messages shared by mums - the words they hope children will carry in their hearts forever.

- The other will be co-created with schools - helping to create a whole-new alien language that Bowly will be learning!

About the founder and author

Angharad Davies lives in South Wales with her husband and two sons (7 and 5).  After witnessing the magic of story in her children for nurturing emotional intelligence, growth mindset and resilience, she decided to write her own.

Combining her knowledge from postgraduate qualifications in Psychology and Play Therapy with her children's love for humorous reads, Bowly - the little light-filled bowl - was born.  Having seen how engaged her children were in the book-creation process, she decided that more children needed to experience the magic.  She now collaborates with hundreds of children across the UK to write her Bowly Can picture books.

Angharad is now on a mission to turn her books into a powerful method - incorporating new resources and mindset moves - so that children across the nation can better understand emotions, navigate challenges, and build a strong sense of self from the earliest years.
